I'm looking for sale notes on big pharmaceutical corps selling rights/patents for drugs to smaller corps.?

This is a research project for school where on earth we're looking into how prices for drugs change when the patents/rights to production are sold from substantial well specified companies to lesser agreed smaller companies. The hypothesis is that when a large company owns a drug, it's rock-hard for them to raise the price, but when they get rid of it to a smaller company, the new owner can more slickly gouge consumers because they don't have reputational concerns. are you looking for the science and math at the back this sales information?
